Let me share a little bit about myself. I’m originally from Europe, where I had a childhood that could’ve sent me down one of two paths: a rule-following desk job or an adventure-filled life of curiosity and creativity. I chose the fun option! While I’ve always had a bit of a rebellious streak, I was also fascinated by computers and technology from a young age. This spark led me to study IT, but as I would later discover, my true passion was connecting with people and helping them achieve their goals.

I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to break the mold—and sometimes break systems (digitally speaking, of course)! By the time I finished my studies, I packed my bags and headed to Asia to explore new opportunities, learn new languages, and immerse myself in completely different cultures. What started as a creative escape quickly turned into the foundation for the fulfilling life I’m living now.

My Journey Into Teaching

When I first landed in Taiwan, I started teaching English to pay the bills while I dug into the local culture, learned Mandarin, and studied Chinese & business at a local university. But what surprised me was how much I loved teaching. Getting to know my students and watching them grow in confidence and skill quickly became one of the most rewarding parts of my day.

Before long, that love for teaching turned into something bigger—I started my own language center, where I helped countless improve their English for exams, work, travel, and life. I learned how to create lessons that aren’t just effective, but also fun and engaging. That experience taught me that English isn’t just a language; it’s an opportunity. Whether you’re striving for a dream job, planning an adventure abroad, or simply building confidence in a new skill, English opens the doors to possibility.

Pivoting to Online Tutoring

When COVID hit, I had to adapt quickly. With lockdowns changing the way we all live and work, I shifted entirely into online tutoring. It was a challenge at first, but it turned out to be an incredible opportunity—now I can connect with students from all over the world, no matter where I call home.

These days, my lessons focus on helping learners just like you build real, usable English skills. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced learner aiming to refine your conversational skills or business vocabulary, I’ll design lessons that are tailored to your goals. I also bring a little cultural flair to the table—having lived in several countries, I love sharing how language connects people across different backgrounds and perspectives.

About My Life in Vietnam

Now, I’m living the semi-retired dream in Da Nang, Vietnam—a city that combines gorgeous beaches, stunning mountains, and a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for reflection and creativity. I spend my days reading philosophy, hiking through nature, practicing archery, and catching up with friends over delicious Vietnamese coffee.

Living here has taught me the value of simplicity and connection, and that’s something I bring into my teaching. Learning English shouldn’t be stressful or intimidating; it should be an exciting journey toward something bigger, whether that’s achieving life goals, making international friends, or simply feeling proud of your progress.
